There are more than a million undocumented immigrants who arrived in the United States as children. This has affected how public universities and state governments shape their policies for immigrants. Some states require this population of immigrants, many of whom have attended public schools for years, to be charged in-state tuition rates when they reach college. Others have laws that require DREAMers to pay out-of-state tuition. This infographic shows the demographics and public university tuition rates for DREAMers across the country and Arizona.
