The PIN Bureau has been working hard to enhance our role in community engagement. We are trying to learn how journalists can tear down the walls between reporters and their communities while harboring effective discussions and meaningful reporting. All semester we’ve been going to newsroom events and talking with experts about how to gather feedback and involve a variety of groups.
This weekend we’re taking the next step and hosting our very own downtown Phoenix discussion. We are inviting anyone who has something to say about the evolution and future of downtown to join us at at our Cronkite PIN Bureau headquarters at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday the 18th. We are hoping to find out what’s going well and what you’d like to see change to help inform future reporting. RSVP here. Hope to see you there!
